Floriano Pagliara looks like he should be preparing for a photo shoot in Paris, not preparing to step into a boxing ring to challenge Danny “Little Mac” McDermott in North Bergen tomorrow night.
If Pagliara is concerned about McDermott re-arranging his features over 6 rounds, it didn't show at the weigh in at Shuetzen Park ball room hall tonight. He doesn’t think of himself as model or a movie star, but a straight-ahead brawler who wants to change everyone's impression of him as a European soft touch. McDermott-Pagliara is the main event of the Pound for Pound promoted “May-Hem” show. Pagliara, 30, (9-2, 6 KOs) is fighting an uphill battle to change the perception of European boxers.
