The always exciting junior middleweight prospect, Pawel “The Raging Bull” Wolak (24-1,16KO’s) is prepared to wage war on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City against Carlos Nascimento (24-1, 20KO’s). The biggest of Wolak’s career will be televised live on the loaded Pay-Per-View card featuring Juan Manuel Lopez versus Rogers Mtagawa. Brick City Boxing had the opportunity to go one on one with “Raging Bull” as he prepared for the biggest fight of his career.

BCB: Pawel How are you feeling as you prepare for your first nationally televised fight on Pay-Per-View against Carlos Nascimento on Saturday night?

Wolak: I feel great!!! I am training in Patterson New Jersey now. It has been extremely tough training. I have been lot of sparring three times a week. I have done six eight and ten rounders with some of the toughest fighters and it has prepared me well.

BCB: Your opponent on Saturday night is Carlos Nascimento. What do you know about him?
Wolak: I have seen tape on him and he looks very strong physically. He moves forward and presses the fight. I should be a little bit stronger and faster than him though. It looks like it will be a very tough fight.

BCB: Who did you spar with to prepare you for Nascimento?
Wolak: I sparred with several top fighters, including Ossie Duran, Kendall Holt, Henry Crawford Richard Pierson and a lot of other young fighters over in Patterson, New Jersey. Their work has prepared me well and I am in ready for anything he will bring on Saturday night.

BCB: This will be your first fight under Top Rank Boxing, whom you have recently signed with. How does it feel to fight under such a strong Promotional company like Top Rank Boxing Inc.?
Wolak: It feels great to be with a big time promoter. They are the best in the game right now. I wanted to go with the best and they have already put me in a nationally televised Pay-Per-View fight. The fight should get me the national recognition that my local fans already feel I deserve.

BCB: For those fans that will see you for the first time, what should they expect?
Wolak: There is going to be a lot of tough in fighting as we both will wage war for ring supremacy. It is going to be an exciting fight that I am sure they will love.

BCB: Assuming everything goes as planned, what is next for you?
Wolak: If I don’t get cut or injured in the fight, it is right back into the gym. I hope to be fighting again on December 5th in Atlantic City.

BCB: Any prediction on your fight against Nascimento?
Wolak: I just want to predict that it will be a good fight and I will come away with a tough win. I hope the fans will love my fight and will clamor for me to fight some of the top contenders in the junior middleweight division.
