RIP to "The Punching Postman"
James Anthony Thornton (Tony), age 49, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Cooper Hospital. Thornton, a Glassboro native worked for USPS for over 25 years. Also Known for a stellar boxing career spanning over 13 years.
He leaves behind his daughter Ashley, son Tony Jr., sister Deborah, nephew Mickell, fiancé Kim, cousins Baron and Tracy, ex-wife Carole, and a host of family, friends, and fans. Services will be 11am Thursday at Healing Wings C.O.G.I.C, 520 E. Stanger Ave., Glassboro; viewing 9-11am. Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MAY FUNERAL HOMES, Camden, Pennsauken, Vineland and Willingboro. www.mayfuneralhomes.com.
