GENARO “CHICANITO” HERNANDEZ
The WBC has received with great joy the fantastic news that our dear former champion Genaro “Chicanito” Hernández is cancer free.
El CMB ha recibido con gran júbilo la fantástica noticia de que nuestro querido ex campeón mundial Genaro "Chicanito" Hernández esta libre de cancer.
We are extremely happy for this positive news. Chicanito was a formidable champion in boxing and has been an example to the world with an impeccable behavior outside the ring.
Estamos extremadamente felices por esta noticia positiva. "Chicanito" fué un formidable campeón del boxeo y ha sido un ejemplo paea el mundo con su impecable comportamiento fuera del ring.
Genaro won his battle against cancer showing his hart of a lion and his complete dedication and devotion to God. His wife and children, his parents, his brothers jointed him thru this difficult experience and now all can be happy, because life is beautiful.
Genaro ganó su batalla contra el cancer mostrando su corazón de león y su completa dedicación y devoción a Diós. Su esposa y sus hijos, sus padres y hermanos lo acompañaron a través de esta dificil experiencia y ahora pueden estar todos felices, porque la vida es hermosa.
Chicanito Hernández found in the boxing community a wonderful and exemplary unity because the family of boxing from around the world jointed and supported his journey always by his side and with hope and believe.
Chicanito Hernandez encontró en la comunidad boxística una ejemplar y maravillosa unidad pues la familia del pugilismo alrededor del mundo lo apoyó y acompañó en su viaje siempre a su lado con espanza y fé.
I would like to personally thank those who participated in support of his treatment and must be proud of themselves for their kindness and generosity.
Me gustaría agradecer personalmente a todos aquellos que participaron para hacer realidad sus tratamientos; deben estar orgullosos por su amabilidad y generosidad.
Genaro will continue to be our WBC world ambassador for peace and concordance for many years to come.
