TYSON DVD
Tyson, a no-holds-barred portrait of the legendary and controversial former heavyweight champion, arrives on Blu-ray High Def and DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on August 18. Oscar® nominated writer/director James Toback (Bugsy)[i], who earned a special ‘Regard Knockout Award’ after last year’s Cannes Film Festival screening, directs Tyson, which is entirely narrated by the champ himself. The film tells the story of a young boy who rose from the most impoverished circumstances, soared to unlimited heights, then -- like a character in a classical tragedy -- was destroyed by his own arrogance and hubris.
Tyson’s bonus features include a new featurette “A Day in the Life” with Toback, red carpet premiere footage and commentary.
