Tickets going fast for Thursday Evening’s show at Schuetzen Park;
Newark’s Mike Perez added to show!
Union City, NJ (Monday, February 16th, 2009) – Pound for Pound’s latest installment of exciting boxing shows, coming this Thursday night at Schuetzen Park in North Bergen, NJ, is nearly sold out. “We are almost sold out and are very excited about putting on another great showcase for local fight fans,” said John Lynch, president of Pound for Pound Promotions.
Pound for Pound has also added 2008 Golden Gloves National Champion Mike Perez (2-0, 2 KOs) to the already stacked card of young, up and coming boxing talent. Perez, a junior lightweight and product of Newark, NJ, possesses a boxer/puncher style with power in both hands. “He is an exciting fighter to watch and has an extensive and successful amateur background, with a bright future in the professional ranks,” states Lynch.
With yet another Pound for Pound production poised for an exciting night of fights, tickets are going fast and “Turn up the Heat” is sure to sell out. Remaining tickets can be purchased by calling 201-864-9566 or 866-924-2050. Doors open at 6 P.M. and the first bout is at 6:30 P.M.
