Mosley will defeat Margarito. Mosley has too much experience and knows how to beat him, which will be by giving him angles all night long. Margarito will never land a clean shot.

SUGAR SHANE VS. MARGARITO?? OK With ME!!
When this fight was announced it got me thinking that the boxing world was in for a treat! Two big names and not even on a PPV card! Like everyone else, I began thinking that Mosley was probably finished and that Antonio Margarito would likely walk right through him. I remembered the battles each fighter had with Miguel Cotto and their outcomes. Then my memory shifted to Mosley's incredible battle and KO of Mayorga back in Sept of '08. If the Shane Mosley of that fight shows up and stays focused, I will predict a slightly different outcome.

I will go ahead and say that in this WBA title fight that Mosley will prove he still has what it takes and either earn a hard fought decision, or shock the world and stop Margarito late in the fight by frustrating him and out working him. Something makes me still want to believe in the underdog and give him the nod in this one.

That may be wishful thinking on my part however, the one prediction I can guarantee is that this fight will deliver the excitement we all have been missing. Only time will tell, but like many others, I will be tuned in tonight at 10pm to find out for myself.

Many writers seem to be picking Mosley, so I've decided to go against the grain and pick Margarito. Both Mosley and Margarito have shown a difficult time fighting larger opponents, however in this fight, only Mosley is facing a large opponent. I don't see Mosley getting knocked out (though it may be possible that his corner will stop the fight). Though it wouldn't surprise me if Mosley pulled it off, I'm picking Margarito by late stoppage or decision

Margarito by KO, Mosely is an awesome fighter, but margarito is gonna have his number just like forrest did.

Bobby Bok:
A good one tonight. Both guys look to be in great shape at the weigh-in. I think Margarito wins late in the fight. Mosely doesn't have enough power to hurt Margarito.
