Bobby Gunn to Defend WBC USNBC Cruiserweight Title Vs Brad Gregory February 25th!
Hackensack, NJ – On February 25th Bobby “The Celtic Warrior” Gunn 20-3-1 (17 KO’s) will attempt to get one step closer to fighting for the WBC world championship. Gunn will be making the first defense of his WBC USNBC Cruiserweight crown against veteran Brad Gregory 11-2 (9 KO’s). The Gunn-Gregory bout will headline “Fight Knight” which is co-promoted by Dignity and FelKO Promotions. The fight will be staged at the beautiful Medieval Times, which is located in Lyndhurst, New Jersey.
Gregory, a Kansas native, will be moving down in weight for the title opportunity. His last five fights have been at heavyweight including both of his losses, which came to former champion Bruce Seldon and highly regarded knockout artist Bermane Stiverne. Gunn knows the importance of this fight as a higher ranking is in sight with a victory.
“I feel great and am working hard in camp” said Gunn, who stopped Shelby Gross in a highly anticipated bout to win the belt. “I will be fully prepared to go war. I have a great team around me and am training with (Light Heavyweight Contender) Shaun George, (undefeated Heavyweight) Faruq Saleem and (former Junior Welterweight Champion) Vivian Harris” said Gunn, who has won a total of six Cruiserweight titles.
Gunn, who has battled all across America as well as in Mexico and Wales, is excited about fighting in his home state of New Jersey for just the second time in his professional career.
“It’s great to be fighting in the Garden State, where some of the best fight fans in the world come from”, said the charismatic Canadian. “My friend and longtime sparring partner Kyle White will be featured on the undercard as well. My ultimate goal is to join my friend Kendall Holt as a current World Champion from New Jersey”.
