FAREWELL TO AN ELITE BAD BOY!!!
Tito Ortiz will try to get the last laugh on Dana White

By: Michael Gawler
Tito Ortiz will battle in what will most likely be his final fight for the UFC this Saturday night. Ortiz and UFC President Dana White have exhausted each other long enough in the form of not only public criticism but even a teased boxing match on PPV. That fight never occurred by the way. Tito’s very public battle with White will come to a head as Ortiz fights Lyoto Machida at UFC 84: Ill Will. White claims win or lose “I am out of the Tito Ortiz business”.
The fact is that Tito will continue fighting but for which competitor of the UFC. Rumors say that Elite XC has made their interest in the “Bad Boy” very well known. Tito cannot negotiate with any other organization for thirty days after his last fight but admits being contacted by Elite XC. This organization makes the most sense for Tito as he would have a number of big money fights that would pay him well and earn the company significant money as well. A rumored rematch with Frank Shamrock could occur to mark the tenth anniversary of their war in the UFC. The media favorite, “Kimbo Slice” could provide a very attractive fight for Ortiz should Kimbo be able to continue winning.
Tito arrived at the weigh-ins tonight wearing a disrespectful shirt aimed towards the absent Dana White (see above picture). Dana will be ringside Saturday night to see what he believes will be the last of Tito Ortiz. It will be interesting to see if Tito will get a chance to address his fans after the fight or if Dana White will be cautious and not allow the controversial Ortiz to be heard after eleven years of service.
