TONY MEOLA TO BE "PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY"
Newark, N.J. (Tuesday, April 29, 2008) - The Newark Public Schools System will be holding their 12th Annual Principal for a Day Program this Friday, May 2, and the New Jersey Ironmen are pleased to announce that goalkeeper Tony Meola will be the honorary principal at Rafael Hernandez School. The event serves as a day in which business, civic and community leaders actively participate in the day-to-day activities of a school principal while interacting with students and teachers.
"I am excited to take part in this event," Meola stated. "It is always nice to be able to participate in events that involve the youth of the local community."

MISL PLAYOFFS '08: IRONMEN DROP FIRST-EVER PLAYOFF GAME AT BALTIMORE
Baltimore, Md. (Thursday, April 10, 2008)- The New Jersey Ironmen hit the road today for 1st Mariner Arena to play their first-ever postseason game, a quarterfinal match-up against the Baltimore Blast. Despite scoring the first goal of the contest, New Jersey would come out on the wrong end of a 22-10 decision. The series now heads to Prudential Center this Saturday when the Ironmen play host to the Blast at 7:00 p.m.
